Their upcoming 10-song studio album, “Love Section,” will be released this August, and The Jardani Crow Band, formed by Michael Wheat and Rip Kurtain, is starting a bold new chapter with the release of “Train,” the first single from the album. The single is a declaration of the scope and ambition behind the band’s next creative chapter.
“Train” is a remarkable international collaboration featuring renowned session musicians from around the world. Sergio da Silva’s driving drum work and Taras Kuznetsov’s rich keyboard textures give the song emotional depth. Ally Rozario’s backing vocals complement the arrangement, and Davy Bergier’s guitar adds energy and character. Jon-Paul Frappier’s trumpet adds a new dimension, expanding the record’s sound. Everything is balanced and intentional, with longtime co-producer and engineer Bryan Daste at the helm.
The production is slick, but it still has that indie-rock spirit. Cinematic, with strong instrumentation, expressive vocals, and thoughtful arrangements that unfold more and more with each listen. “Train” is a well-crafted release that reveals The Jardani Crow Band ready to make their mark on the next chapter for good.
