Gilad presents his new single “Together We Stand,” an upbeat country-rock track and the 4th single from his forthcoming album, as well as a very personal piece of art. With its playful instruments and alluring, feel-good tone, it easily stands out from other songs within the Americana genre. This release is family-themed, featuring contributions from his children.
Gilad collaborates with Guitarist Al Bonhomme, who plays banjo and lead guitar, and Gary Carter on pedal steel, which makes the song feel both classic and contemporary. Gilad also introduced ambient sounds, meant to provide the track with an organic, honest, and, most importantly, raw sound. The live drums were recorded during Matan’s first professional session, emphasizing that sound.
Gilad has a smooth, persuasive voice, while the harmony of his children is impactful. “Together We Stand” is a great country-rock release that also contributes to the genre’s larger narrative of authenticity, connection, and lasting musical values.
