It opens the German electro-goth act’s debut EP, “Undead Melodies,” and their live phase. That placement elevates “Paint the Walls“ from song to an entry into the darker world surrounding the project. Corpseshock’s musical identity is the resurrection of 90s Big Beat for today’s darker rave floors.
The release describes the sound as a collision of The Prodigy and hard Eurodance, suggesting an approach that prizes force, electronic momentum, and theatrical darkness.
