There are many ways to describe a song about wanting to be with somebody, but CAR287 has taken a different path, creating an energetic rock release meant to connect with you beyond the romantic theme. “End Of The Day” is the first release from the band’s upcoming five-song EP, giving you a sneak peek of songs recorded at Winnipeg’s CTRL Space Records.
The single is about finding someone who really matters and putting that feeling into music. The band emphasizes a lively performance, which gives it character, and the record is easy to get into with simple style. A catchy guitar hook, keyboard parts, and a sing-along refrain are the song’s main elements.
The track has also received positive response during live performances, where the band says they’ve seen audiences dancing and smiling. That’s the whole point of the release, to make music for fun and to connect people. CAR287 is developing an idea that needs no complicated explanations at a time when positive shared experiences can be especially valuable.
“End Of The Day” is the first single from the forthcoming EP and a welcoming introduction to where the band is now. The group has an accessible theme, melodic hooks and rock energy as a clear starting point for the next stage of its recorded work.
