Shmu is back with a new electronic record, “Watering The 777 Outdoor Bud & Herblyfe420,” a record that leans into futuristic sound design and altered perception themes. The production alternates between ambient drift and more defined rhythmic pulses, with electronic textures stacked on top of each other. The project is in two separate pieces. “Watering The 777 Outdoor Bud” leans more towards the organic-sounding ambience mixed with digital distortion, creating a slow unfolding environment. “Herblyfe420” digs deeper into rhythms and abstract sequencing.
