In a world of digital smoke and mirrors, where fabricated emotions often hide the real thing, Argentine alternative rock band SIVA has decidedly punched through that screen with “Influencer – English,” a powerhouse introspective anthem that plays more like an emotional day of reckoning than a song. The Córdoba, Spain-based group, formed in 2017 and grew out of the underground act HYPERSTATIC, has a more complex, heavier sound here that finds a delicate balance between grit and grace.
With this release, SIVA has clarified that they’re creating moments that force you to stop, reflect, and feel. “Influencer -English” hits are off feedback war zone guitar riff atmosphere sound that unfolds from rich, layered guitars to a pulsing patient rhythm.
