Los Angeles-based producer Winterfresh embarks on a fresh chapter in his career with “I Know,” his new rhythmic Afro house release out through Wintercamp Records here. Having established himself with a futuristic touch on various productions, Winterfresh bravely extends his creative limits on this track, completely disassociating it from any synthetic element, opting to replace it exclusively with live instrumentation and organic textures. The result is a lush, thumping land that runs alive and mesmerizing.

Right from the initial beat of “I Know,” listeners are steeped in the sub undertow of its rolling groove, which is packed and throbbing. The track’s effortless blend of Afro-house puzzles and an earthy, melodic core represents a turning point for the artist Winterfresh.

With multiple layers of percussion and ethereal vocal elements, “I Know” has a warmth that digital production rarely captures. It’s a track in which each aspect breathes, moving with natural and electric energy. As you dive deeper into the melodies, you find yourself taken to a place where tradition exists alongside innovation, where house music is not simply a genre but an experience in and of itself.

The vocals are better than ever, but in a departure from previous work, Winterfresh has embraced real instruments, which feel like a more wholesome sound overall and an almost immersive experience as the group grows and evolves to avoid stagnation. “I Know” is a window into the future of his music.
