Los Angeles-based brother/sister duo Alexandra John, comprised of twins Liza and Weston Cain, has unveiled the incredibly soulful new single “Me & You.” Released around their birthday, this track is a heartfelt tribute to their childhood bond and artistic lives, separately and together.

“Me & You” is a raw, hopeful depiction of the connection between Liza and Weston. The song sounds like two siblings who have grown together so intimately, musically and personally. It’s a celebration of their love for each other, which has been decades in the making, and a tribute to the spaces they have built for themselves.

Penned when Liza attended the elite LA Academy for Arts and Music Production (LAAMP), the raw, laid-bare ballad opened as the rawest, lay-bare ballad opening, epitomizing the emotional transparency Liza’s verse is built upon. Liza teamed up with Aaron Harmon and Jasmin Peters to create a song that began as something small, accompanied only by a piano and emotional vocals and eventually grew into the anthemic number it is now. Such an evolution, the track’s odyssey is a testament to Alexandra John’s devotion to her art and development.

“Me & You” is a chapter of the Faybrian Cain siblings’ artistic evolution and self-discovery. The song hovers between soft whimsicality, deep lyrical depth, vulnerability, and strength. It’s a celebration of unconditional love and only family, even as we embrace the personal growth each twin’s life has undergone.

Simple but stirring, “Me & You” is essential for listening to thoughtful, soulful music that seems exceptionally well suited for fans of sibling love and the transformation associated with creative collaboration. As Liza and Weston keep us along as they musically grow, “Me & You” becomes another standout moment in their artistic progression.
