She also made a funny little dig at Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney’s recent, very awkward American Eagle ad campaign, being all about “genes,” and then apparently the whole concept was that it’d be like geneticist-meets-jeans. Doja’s take was a sarcastically dippy impression that cracked up the audience. “Genes are inherited from parents to children… My jeans are blue,” she riffed in a giddily exaggerated voice. Predictably, some haters on X tried to come for her yet again. Doja clapped back, “I should always talk and I will continue to.” From taking backlash over body policing to poking fun at controversial ad campaigns, Doja Cat is owning the internet as only she can.
