50 Cent is taking another unmistakable swipe at director Tyler Perry over storylines in his films after a lawsuit by actor Derek Dixon seeking $260 million for sexual assault. Never one where his mouth is concerned and always willing to defend those closest to him to no end, 50 Cent hopped on Instagram to back Perry in the most 50 way possible, with a sense of humor, a dash of sarcasm, and a lesson learned that he isn’t buying the accusations.

Dixon’s lawsuit against Perry, an actor who made a name for himself playing Brad on Perry’s hit series The Oval, accuses Perry of sexually harassing, assaulting, and battering him and professional retaliation. It’s a sensational, headline-grabbing assertion that threatens to sully the enduring influence of one of Black Hollywood’s most powerful people. But 50 Cent won’t stand for it.

In his first announcement on Instagram, 50 posted an A.I.-crafted image of himself next to Tyler Perry, along with a fire-wielding caption, “Did that b!tch just say what I think he said ? Nah we ain’t jacking this sh*t gang! No Way.” It was a loud and clear indication that the rapper-turned-mogul wouldn’t back down when defending Perry, even when facing a multimillion-dollar scandal.

Hours later, he posted another image created with AI, this time of comedian Katt Williams, no stranger to his brashness. “Tyler that case bullsh*t don’t worry about that, worry about this [ninja] here! He gonna have a field day with this sh*t. LOL.” The post was also hilarious, but it also boldly restated his position in his view, in this case, the case just doesn’t hold water. This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has publicly supported Perry. In a now-viral post, he expressed his love earlier this month, “Hey, I think anyone who talks bad about Tyler Perry should die I mean we are all gonna die, but you should die now!” His prose treads the tightrope between shock value and vulnerable honesty.

The court will ultimately settle the lawsuit. 50 Cent, however, doesn’t mince words about where he stands. He’s not just defending a friend but defending someone he views as a cultural icon under assault. And, of course, in classic 50 Cent fashion, he’s doing so loudly, defiantly, and with the kind of clip-laden content that can turn a legal battle into a viral spectacle.
